At VE–Twin Cities Bouldering, we’ve designed a Yoga & Fitness Program that offers you a variety of daily classes focused on improving your strength, mobility, and overall wellness. Whether you’re looking for pre-climb or post-climb classes with your community, or if you’re in need of a restorative practice on your rest days, we’ve got you covered day in and day out.

Our workshops and series will dive deep into specific content, and work collaboratively with our local community and other small businesses. Intro to Aerial Yoga

Instructor: Beth Onward | Aerial Yoga and Rock Climbing go hand in hand. In this introductory workshop, you’ll build on your ability to trust your body and refine your intuition. Aerial Yoga uses the silk aerial hammocks as props with which to partially or fully suspend your body. This context allows for a deeply supportive practice that utilizes the force of gravity to our advantage. Learn More

Deep Rest & Thai Yoga Massage

Instructor: Emily Rose | In this specialty workshop offering, you’ll be given an opportunity to dive into a pronounced state of deep rest and relaxation. Over the course of 90 minutes, you’ll receive Thai Yoga Massage hands-on assists infused with essential oils, alongside breathwork and meditation guidance. Learn More

Inversions: Handstands

Instructor: Tiffany June | This offering has been created for those who are handstand beginners as well as more experienced practitioners. Prepare to deepen your understanding of the basic biomechanics of balancing on your hands, while deconstructing each individual element. Wrist, shoulder, and core strengthening drills, the art of safely and intentionally falling out of your inversions, and the implementation of props, walls, and partner work will leave you with an abundant variety of skills and drills to build your practice from the ground up. Intro to Finger Strength Training

Finger strength training is an essential element as you progress your rock climbing skillset. In this 90 minute workshop, we'll look at a detailed and structured approach to grip strength that will help you to train intelligently and excel your climbing capacity. We recommend that all participants of this class have a minimum of 12 months of consistent climbing training under their belt, along with the ability to effectively climb at a v2-3 grade. Learn More
