Tag Team Summer Slam is a fun and friendly community comp where two partners participate as a team! You and your tag team partner will belay each other on a wide range of brand-new top rope routes and compete with other teams in your skill category. This is a redpoint comp, so each team can try routes multiples times.

This competition is intended for climbers of all skill and experience levels. Never done a climbing comp before? Perfect! Tag Team Summer Slam is a perfect introduction to the fun and excitement of a climbing competition.

There will be awards for each category, as well as for costumes! Wear a themed costume with your partner for maximum points! There will also be a raffle with prizes up for grabs. Entry into the raffle is included with registration.

There will be a morning and an afternoon session to lessen crowding. Awards will follow session 2. If you are unable to be there for awards and have won, we will contact you.

Interested in how the NicroBloc can fit into your climbing? We will cover how to use them for building finger strength (hangboard alternative), warming up, & giving you an edge on hard send attempts!

Clinics will be 15 minutes long, starting at 6:30pm & 7:30pm.

Are you a first-time climber? Or have you been wanting to get a friend into the sport? First Fridays at VE St. Paul and VE Glendale Heights are just what you need!

First-time Vertical Endeavors visitors climb for free on the first Friday of the month after 6 PM!

Harness rental included. Excludes other rentals. Only offered at VE St. Paul and VE Glendale Heights.

Queer Beta is an established meet up group looking to provide a safe and inclusive space for queer climbers.

Queer Beta meets at VE Bloomington on the fourth Tuesday of each month, from 6–8 PM.

Vertical Endeavors - Bloomington is proudly pairing up with Up Ending Parkinson's to bring you a meetup specifically for people who are affected by Parkinson's Disease. Family members are welcome to join! During the meetup, volunteers will be available to belay, encourage, and offer support to climbers.

Gals Against Gravity is a women's climbing group for those who identify as such. Gals fosters a community of positivity while seeking to teach skills and techniques to ladies in the world of climbing. Gals consists of a fun group of people who are all stoked on climbing. The group offers partners to climb with, clinics, and lessons aimed at improving climbing and having fun. All skill levels are welcome!
