Yoga & Fitness at Twin Cities Bouldering
At VE–Twin Cities Bouldering, we’ve designed a Yoga & Fitness Program that offers you a variety of daily classes focused on improving your strength, mobility, and overall wellness. Whether you’re looking for pre-climb or post-climb classes with your community, or if you’re in need of a restorative practice on your rest days, we’ve got you covered day in and day out.

Flow links movement and breath together. You'll be guided through a steady and dynamic Vinyasa-based practice that builds in intensity as balance, strength, mobility, and flexibility are woven in. Class finishes with rest to balance effort and ease.

Slow down, move with intention, and find a practice anchored by the breath. Expect longer holds in postures, which offers the opportunity to fine tune, explore shapes, and build heat gradually. Class finishes with mellow stretches and space for rest.

EXTENDED FLOW (75 MIN)
Our Extended Flow format is a 75 minute opportunity to dissect some of the more complex and physically challenging yoga postures, including arm balances and inversions. Expect ample time to warm-up, vigorous flows, and a dialogue-based exploration of poses by breaking down their essential components and prerequisites. Our practice winds down with a slow and thoughtful extended meditation and rest.
Experience with yoga is recommended prior to attending.
RECOVER & RESTORE
An excellent counterbalance to the physical and mental intensity of climbing, our Recover & Restore format offers space to mellow out and down-regulate your nervous system. You’ll explore passive stretching, restorative shapes, three-dimensional breathing, and simple meditation techniques within a warm and relaxing environment.

CORE & MOBILITY (30 MIN)
Create core awareness through 30 minutes of endurance, mobility, and body weight movement patterns. Expect novelty, play, coordination, and stability. This class is open to all, with several options for modifications and amplifications.
MOVEMENT & MOBILITY
This format incorporates various methods of movement where you’ll find yourself immersed in an interactive experience that encourages exploration of the mind/body connection. Active mobility work, coordination, natural movement patterns, and an emphasis on play are the foundational pillars of this unique offering.
HIIT circuit training promotes endurance and strength through a combination of weight training, plyometric movement, training the body to maximize active recovery rest periods, increase aerobic capacity, and work through explosive movements to delay muscular fatigue in sport.
Challenge and develop your brain/body connection through active mobility, strength, and a structured flow. Animal Flow works proprioception through contralateral movement chains (which is a fun way of saying it builds strength, balance, and tension control). You will spend time practicing and putting together an Animal Flow movement pattern that is designed to give you better movement and mastery at any level.
WORKSHOPS & Series
In addition to our weekly group fitness classes, we offer a variety of workshops and series. Our workshops and series will dive deep into specific content, and work collaboratively with our local community and other small businesses.
