Yoga & Fitness at Twin Cities Bouldering

At VE–Twin Cities Bouldering, we’ve designed a Yoga & Fitness Program that offers you a variety of daily classes focused on improving your strength, mobility, and overall wellness. Whether you’re looking for pre-climb or post-climb classes with your community, or if you’re in need of a restorative practice on your rest days, we’ve got you covered day in and day out.


In addition to our weekly group fitness classes, we offer a variety of workshops and series. Our workshops and series will dive deep into specific content, and work collaboratively with our local community and other small businesses. We are constantly adding new workshops and series, so continue to check our calendar and or follow us on Facebook to stay up-to-date.

Yoga Labs

Instructor: Jianna H. | Yoga Lab is a 60-minute Flow class designed to "tune up" some of your quintessential yoga postures. By deconstructing these familiar places, we invite an opportunity to learn, refine, and experience different ways of being ourselves in the shapes. While each Yoga Lab is different, the techniques remain the same: to discover novel sensations in a variety of different ways to enable practitioners to find variety, stability, effort, and ease.

Inversions: A 3-Week Program

Instructor: Jianna H. | Progressively build strength, mobility, and stability in the upper body to move upside down. These three sessions incorporate several methodologies designed to give participants a strong foundation and develop a fine-tuned sense of the body.

Strength for Climbers: A 3-Week Program

Instructor: Terra J. | Off-the-wall training for climbing: we pull all the time, learn how to push! We will train together once per week, with a second day of self-led programming included. You will receive personalized form instruction, and custom programming for your goals. Everyone will be equipped with the skills to keep training independently after this series is complete! Lifting 101

Instructor: Terra J. | These sessions will be a mix of introduction to the fitness room at VE-TCB as well as an opportunity to learn some basics of exercise technique and mechanics.  They are designed to increase your comfort level with training on your own, to help you understand the basics of how to design your own workout plan, and most importantly to be sure it's being done in a safe manner. Intro to Aerial Yoga

Instructor: Beth O. | A prerequisite to Aerial Yoga, Aerial Yoga and Rock Climbing go hand in hand. In this introductory workshop, you’ll build on your ability to trust your body, and refine your intuition. Aerial Yoga uses the silk aerial hammocks as props to suspend your body partially or fully. This context allows for a deeply supportive practice that utilizes the force of gravity to our advantage. Inversions are incredibly accessible with the aerial hammock, which then facilitates space for the soft tissues and wide ranging systems of your body to unravel, realign, and steady.

In a safe and welcoming environment, learn how to invert, maneuver, balance, stretch and have fun in the silks! You’ll learn proper modifications and propping techniques for your personal comfort and ability level and elevate your yoga practice in a new and invigorating way. Sign up here.

Aerial Yoga

Instructor: Beth O. | Unnata Aerial Yoga® is an opportunity to elevate your practice… literally! (Unnata is Sanskrit for elevated) Yoga poses (asana) performed in a fabric hammock are balanced with poses on the mat to create a balanced practice that will deepen awareness on many levels, massage the fascia, decompress the spine, and bring a new dimension to your asana practice.
