Yoga & Fitness

At VE–Twin Cities Bouldering and VE–Minneapolis, we’ve designed a Yoga & Fitness Program that offers you a variety of daily classes focused on improving your strength, mobility, and overall wellness. Whether you’re looking for pre-climb or post-climb classes with your community, or if you’re in need of a restorative practice on your rest days, we’ve got you covered.

WORKSHOPS & Series

In addition to our weekly group fitness classes, we offer a variety of workshops and series. Our workshops and series will dive deep into specific content, and work collaboratively with our local community and other small businesses. Animal Flow

Instructor: Tiffany F. | Join Tiffany for a 3-week Animal Flow series all about gaining full body control through active mobility and increasing your spatial skills while having loads of fun. Animal Flow uses just your body weight in primal movement patterns designed to challenge your body brain connection. Learn More

Floreio

Instructor: Elias B. | Floreio is a sub-art of Capoeira, featuring both ground based movements and acrobatic elements. In this 4-week series, we will learn simple moves in isolation, then put them together to create a sequenced and eventually improvised flows. Our instructor, Elias brings together neuroscience, martial arts and the movement culture to create an integrated experience that will hone mind and body. Learn More

YOGA FOR RUNNERS: PRE & POST RUN ROUTINE

Instructor: Amanda F. | Are you a runner who is interested in incorporating more yoga into your training? In this workshop, we'll flow through a dynamic warm-up sequence that will help you feel physically and mentally ready to hit the ground running.  All levels of running or yoga experience are welcome; no prior yoga experience is required. YOGA FOR RUNNERS: HIP STRENGTH & MOBILITY

Instructor: Amanda F. | Chances are, if you've had an overuse injury from running , you've been told that you need to strengthen your glutes. While many runners may think of yoga as "just stretching", this workshop will go over how to level up your practice so it targets hip strength and mobility. We will move through a strong, glute- activating flow before settling into runner-friendly stretches and Q&A session. CLASS INFORMATION

  • Class capacity is very limited to adhere to appropriate social distancing. 
  • Bring a mat! In order to participate in class, you must bring your own mat. We are not doing mat rentals at this time. 
  • Masks are required while inside the facility, including while participating in yoga & fitness classes. 
  • Create community, but keep your distance. Please adhere to social distancing requirements. Mat space is marked in the studio in accordance to this! 
  • Arrive on time. Those who arrive late will not be permitted into class, to keep our instructors & participants safe. We suggest arriving 10 minutes early and allowing extra time if you need to fill out a waiver, have questions about membership, or need a facility orientation. 

reservation only

All classes are by reservation only and have limited capacity. Please book your spot in advance. No cash or check transactions will be accepted at this time, cards only. Everyone must check-in at the front counter with an employee, there will be no self-scan-in. Upon entering the facility, everyone will have their temperature checked. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4° or higher will not be admitted to the facility. Everyone entering the facility will respond to a daily health screening questionnaire. Every Member, Customer, and Guest in the Facility must sign a New Waiver and COVID-19-Related Assumption of Risk Statement. Access the waiver here and fill it out ahead of time.

Members pay $5 deposit per reservation, which will be refunded upon arrival. If a member does not show for their reservation, they will not be refunded their deposit. Non-members will pay $10 class fee per reservation. Please note that registering for class does not give facility access – if you plan on climbing, please reserve a spot here.

safety guidelines

Increased cleaning. There will be increased cleaning, disinfecting, and decontamination of facilities and equipment by both staff and patrons. We ask that climbers wash or sanitize their hands before and after each climb or belay. We ask that patrons using the fitness facilities wipe down any fitness equipment with disinfectant spray before and after use.

Personal responsibility. If you feel ill or have displayed any symptoms associated with COVID-19, you MUST stay home. COVID-19 affects different people in different ways. Infected people have had a wide range of symptoms reported – from mild to severe. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) notes that people with the following symptoms may have COVID-19: Cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever (100.4° or higher), chills or shaking with chills, muscle pain, sore throat, and new loss of taste or smell. This is not an all-inclusive list; other less common symptoms have been reported: headache, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Avoid touching your face, eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. Practice good coughing and sneezing etiquette.

Social Distancing. Maintain a minimum of nine feet of social distance between you and anyone who is not a member of your family or intimate social circle. Do not touch other people (no handshakes, no hugs, no high fives, etc.). Climbers and belayers should use a "non-contact" double check procedure and continue to maintain nine feet of social distance.

Wear a mask. Wearing a mask or face covering is REQUIRED in indoor shared spaces and while climbing or exercising. Masks are also required when walking outdoors to/from your mat space on the patio. They are recommended during class, but not required. Everyone must provide their own mask. This is a state requirement. There will be no exceptions.

Wash, sanitize, or disinfect your hands often. Sanitizer and disinfectant will be placed throughout the facility.
