Yoga & Fitness at Glendale Heights

At VE–Glendale Heights, we’ve designed a Yoga & Fitness Program that offers you a variety of daily classes focused on improving your strength, mobility, and overall wellness. Whether you’re looking for pre-climb or post-climb classes with your community, or if you’re in need of a restorative practice on your rest days, we’ve got you covered day in and day out.

WORKSHOPS & Series

In addition to our weekly group fitness classes, we offer a variety of workshops and series. Our workshops and series will dive deep into specific content, and work collaboratively with our local community and other small businesses. We are constantly adding new workshops and series, so continue to check our calendar and or to stay up-to-date.

Arm Balance Basics

Instructor: Dana | This fun and challenging workshop is geared toward all levels and will teach you how to do a variety of arm balances with greater mindfulness and ease. Dana will break down the poses, provide modifications, and teach you how to properly execute them for a safe and strong practice. This sequence will help your body understand the mechanics of arm balances to gain strength and confidence in adding these postures into your practice.

About the instructor: Dana began practicing yoga about a decade before deciding to complete Yoga Teacher Training 200-hour in the fall of 2018. She wanted to not only further her growth as a student but also assist others in advancing their own practice and overall wellbeing. She has been teaching yoga for three and a half years.

Advanced Arm Balance Workshop

Instructor: Dana | Build strength and gain confidence with advanced arm balances. Build upon your yoga experience with this exciting and challenging workshop aimed to take your practice to the next level. This workshop will incorporate an explanation and breakdown of various advanced arm balances and teach you how to correctly execute them.
