This class is both an introduction to the fitness room at VE-TCB as well as an opportunity to learn some basics of exercise technique and mechanics. It is designed to increase your comfort level to come into the gym and train on your own, to help you understand the basics of creating a workout plan and routine, and most importantly ensuring it is done safely.

Aerial Yoga and Rock Climbing go hand in hand. In this introductory workshop, you’ll build on your ability to trust your body, and refine your intuition. Aerial Yoga uses the silk aerial hammocks as props with which to partially or fully suspend your body. This context allows for a deeply supportive practice that utilizes the force of gravity to our advantage. Inversions are incredibly accessible with the aerial hammock, which then facilitates space for the soft tissues and wide ranging systems of your body to unravel, realign, and steady.
In a safe and welcoming environment, learn how to invert, maneuver, balance, stretch and have fun in the silks! You’ll learn proper modifications and propping techniques for your personal comfort and ability level, and elevate your yoga practice in a new and invigorating way. This class is most accessible to those with a general understanding of basic yoga poses; please consider attending at least one of our regular daily yoga classes to gain some insight into the general yoga practice before registering for our introductory aerial workshop.

This 90-minute hybrid practice blends flow, strength, and mobility training. Each session weaves together skills, drills, and dynamic movement to prepare the body and mind for inversions- including (but not limited to) handstands, headstands, forearm stands, and the transitions between them. Expect to challenge balance, expand limits, and shift perspective, all while building a solid foundation of spatial awareness.
All levels welcome. No inversion experience required. Every shape is built from the ground up, with props and walls used generously to support accessibility, play, and exploration. Each month centers on a new theme or function, beginning with grounding foundations to prepare for deeper work.

Yoga Lab is a 60 minute Vinyasa class designed to "tune up" some of your quintessential yoga postures. By deconstructing these familiar places, we invite in an opportunity to learn, refine, and experience different ways of being ourselves in the shapes. While each Yoga Lab is different, the techniques remain the same: to discover novel sensation in a variety of different ways to enable practitioners to find variety, stability, effort, and ease.
