Your Membership Gives back
$10 From each membership purchased will be donated to a non-profit organization that has a positive impact on our climbing communities. Depending on the facility you purchase your new membership, a donation will be sent to one of the following organizations: Minnesota Climbers Association, Duluth Climbers Coalition, Wisconsin Climbers Association, and Illinois Climbers Association. These four organizations are all dedicated to preserving and growing the sport of climbing in our area. Please read more below about the organization your donation will help.
The Minnesota Climbers Association is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization made up of members and volunteers dedicated to preserving Minnesota climbing. We advocate access for climbers by encouraging responsible practices, promoting conservation and stewardship of private and publicly held lands, as well as, fostering communication and awareness of the sport to the public. The Duluth Climbers Coalition is a nonprofit 501(c)3 advocacy organization made up of local Duluth climbers, outdoor recreation educators, and business owners. Our goal is to secure and preserve access to climbing crags located within the city of Duluth, and to promote quality climbing opportunities for participants of all ages and abilities and across all climbing disciplines (bouldering, rock, ice, and mixed climbing). When you sign up for a membership at Glendale Heights, you will have the choice to put your donation toward the Illinois Climbers Association or the Wisconsin Climbers Association.
The Illinois Climbers Association is a charitable organization representing the climbers of Illinois. We are dedicated to preserving climbing and bouldering access in Illinois through education, conservation, and cooperation. Learn more here!
The Wisconsin Climbers Association was formed to become an advocate for the sport of climbing in the state of Wisconsin and to be a vocal advocate for the Wisconsin climbing community. The WCA is continually working to gain access to new climbing areas, maintain existing climbing areas and improve the overall experience of climbing in Wisconsin. Learn more here!
