Citizen's Competition
This local competition is not sanctioned by USA Climbing and is open to all. At Passion for Flashin', competitors will have the opportunity to climb boulders, top rope routes, and lead routes. All climbs (boulder, top rope, and lead) will be given a point value. The top five scoring climbs completed by each competitor will be used to determine their final score.
So, for example, if a climber flashes three boulders, three top rope routes, and three lead routes (nine total), the top five highest scoring of those nine completed will make up their final score. Climbers with the top four overall scores in each overall category (Everyone's Welcome, Men's, and Women's) will go on to compete in finals. Sub-division (Recreational, Intermediate, Advanced) does not limit eligibility for a spot in finals.
