Climbing Events
Is your Boy Scout troop looking for something fun and exciting to do? STOP looking and sign up for a Vertical Endeavors Boy Scout event today! Whether you’re new to climbing or returning for more fun, climbing is a great activity that will rock your world. This two hour program includes an instructor and basic gear for the troop. A $50 deposit is required and we would prefer two weeks advance notice for scheduling.

  • We must have a minimum of 10 participants to run the event
  • $16.00/scout during the weekday
  • $18.00/scout during the weekend

BSA Climbing Merit Badge
A five hour class in which Boy Scouts can meet all of the requirements for the BSA Climbing Merit Badge. Badge requirements include belaying, rappelling, knot tying, rope management, and other general safety requirements. We recommend that Scouts be at least 12 years old and have completed the First Aid Merit Badge.

Girl Scouts

Is your Girl Scout troop looking for something fun and exciting to do? STOP looking and sign up for a Vertical Endeavors Girl Scout event. Whether you're new to climbing or returning for more fun, climbing is a great activity that will rock your world. This two-hour program includes an instructor and basic gear for the troop. A $50 deposit is required and we would prefer two weeks advance notice for scheduling.

Girl Scout Badge Work Program
The four hour class for Juniors covers the material required to fulfill parts of the Sports Sampler and Adventure Sports. The class for Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts is five hours in which the girls will work on the High Adventure Interest Project Patch.

NOTE: While the classes cover the material required to fulfill the mentioned badges, VE cannot guarantee that each participant will learn the information required to meet the standards of the badge.

  • Junior Girl Scouts: $34.99/scout
  • Cadette/Senior Girl Scouts: $39.99/scout
