RATES AND HOURS

Welcome to Vertical Endeavors in St. Paul, Minnesota – one of the nation’s premier climbing facilities. Originally opened in 1992, our facility originally offered 10,000 sq. ft. of climbing. In 2004, to meet our growing needs, we burst through a wall, demolished one of our caves, and added an entire new section of full-height climbing walls and another lead area. There are over 60 separate ropes and 15 Auto Belays, providing hundreds of climbing routes. An excellent beginner area is perfect for introducing new climbers to the sport.

In addition, we expanded our existing bouldering cave and added a bouldering cave for hardcore climbers that ranges from 45 to 60 degrees overhanging. We opened these new climbing areas along with an expanded cardio, weight, and fitness area. Come check out our more than 18,200 square feet of climbing.

  • Saturday, February 4, 2012 / B1 Bouldering Cave CLOSED / 4:30-close

  • Thursday, February 16, 2012 / A portion of the gym will be CLOSED
  • Friday, February 17, 2012 / Bouldering caves and large portions of the gym will be CLOSED for routesetting
    • B1 & B2 Caves closed ALL DAY
    • Lead Pit and Lead Cave closed ALL DAY
    • There will be very limited climbing and climbing at VE-Minneapolis is recommended
  • Saturday, February 18, 2012
    • 10am-2pm / Vertical Endeavors-St. Paul will be CLOSED for the annual Passion for Flashin' Climbing Comp
    • 2pm / Half of the gym will re-open for regular business
    • 4-10pm / the entire gym will be OPEN for regualr business

Waivers

Vertical Endeavors requires all participants to have a signed waiver on file upon entering the facility and prior to entering the climbing areas. Regardless of whether you are climbing or not, all individuals, including spectators, must fill out a waiver.

NOTE: All minors (ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YEARS) needs a waiver signed by a PARENT or COURT-ASSIGNED LEGAL GUARDIAN. No exceptions. Vertical Endeavors requires all customers and members to fill out a new waiver every TWO years.
