ROCK CLIMBING TRIPS
Are you looking for adventure and excitement in your life? Try the sport of rock climbing! Our lessons and trips will take you to some of the most beautiful areas in the country. VEGA's objective is to teach climbing skills in an appropriate and comfortable environment where you will learn proper techniques as well as develop sound judgment on real rock in harmony with nature.
VEGA (Vertical Endeavors Guided Adventures) is Vertical Endeavors' outdoor division. VEGA’s guides are required to have a solid base of personal experience and they are then trained and qualified through a process comparable to the national standard for certified guides. A few VEGA guides are AMGA (American Mountain Guides Association) trained, the largest organization of professional guides in the United States. Your VEGA guide is dedicated to providing you with the best experience possible.
Black Hills Climbing Experience -- Devils Tower Climbing Experience -- Red Hot Weekend-Red River Gorge, Kentucky -- Red Rocks, Nevada
Black Hills Climbing Experience
The Needles is a truly magical place. A sea of granite spires, split by narrow grassy corridors, soar above the pine forest providing fantastic climbing opportunities for all levels. This trip is held in the historic “Needles” of Custer State Park and Rushmore National Monument in South Dakota. Superb multi-pitch climbs and fun “gymnastic” sport routes are chosen to be commensurate with your abilities.
Devils Tower Climbing Experience
Devils Tower is the core of an extinct volcano which rises 1,270 feet above the plains of northeastern Wyoming. The route ascended in this adventure (unless otherwise arranged) is called the “Durrance” route (5.8) and was first pioneered in 1938. This route is considered one of the “Fifty Classic Climbs in North America.” If you're looking for a truly unique “summit” experience, standing atop Devils Tower will be a memory that will last a lifetime.
